2 Basic unit wiring
2.1 Wiring power supply and specification
2.1.1 Input wiring at power supply terminal
TP03 PLC is classified into DC and AC type. Please pay attention to following items.
For AC type:
、
AC power range (100VAC~240VAC). Connect the power supply with L N terminal on PLC.
The PLC will be damaged if you connect the AC power to +24V terminal or input terminals.
The power supply for both basic unit and expansion unit should be ON/ OFF simultaneously.
The ground wiring for basic unit should not be less than 1.6mm.
PLC would not be affected if the power fail lasted less than 10ms. The longer power fail or
lower voltage will stop the PLC and cut all the output. And the PLC will recover operation as
long as the power becomes normal. There are many retentive registers and relay for keeping
the data during power fail. And the user should pay attention to that when in programming.

The max current for +24V terminal is 0.5A. External power can not connect with this
terminal. Driving current for each input should be 6~7mA. For 16 inputs, the total current
is about 0.1A. Thusly, the current for external load should be less than 0.3A.
The terminal +24V provides the driving current for transistor outputs Y0/Y1 in TP03 H
type. The terminal COM0 connects with 0V, while others do not connects with 0V.
