Lowering the
Partition Panel
The partition panel of the measurement bench can be lowered to improve
access to connectors and components. Refer to the following steps when a
procedure requires lowering the partition panel (see Figure 7-3).

Equipment Required:
Philips screwdriver
1. Turn instrument OFF and unplug the power cord.
2. If the instrument is mounted in a rack, remove it from the rack.
3. Remove the cover.
Captive Screw
Remove Bench
then Remove Screw
Pass Through
Connectors
Partition Panel
REMOVE SCREWS
SLIDE BENCH OUT
LOWER PANEL
Hidden Screw
Equipment Damage Some internal components can be damaged by small
amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.
