27-30-01 Elevator
The right and left elevator parts are interconnected by a control
transmission. The elevator crank arm is attached to this control
transmission and is connected to the elevator control push-pull rod.
The two elevator parts are connected to the respective horizontal
stabilizer brackets by means of two ball bearings each.

Removal
▶ Remove fuselage tail fairing as per Chapter
53-00-02 Fuseage Tail

▶ Note position of cable tie on the control transmission (RH elevator
only).
▶ Cut cable tie (if applicable).
▶ Disconnect electrical wiring of elevator trim (RH elevator only).
