Steel cable deflection limiter
Nose gear attaching bracket
▶ Remove air hoses from heating system for easier access to the nose
gear attaching bracket (5).
▶ Jack the aircraft front as per Chapter

▶ Remove the nose wheel fork with wheel as per Chapter
32-20-03

▶ Place the mounting rod (4) to the nose gear attachment bracket.
▶ Put the mounting cup (7) over the nose gear strut (9) and connect it
with the mounting rod using the two tensioning tools (6).
▶ Tension the two tensioning tools simultaneously 5 mm to be able to
remove the centering blocks (8).
▶ Remove the centering blocks (2 bolts each).
▶ Release the two tensioning tools simultaneously until centering rolls
are on the nose gear attachment bracket.
▶ Note position of cords and remove the bolt attaching (3) the shock
cord rings (1) and the steel cable deflection limiter (2).
▶ Turn the nose gear strut to the right side and change the left shock
cord ring,
▶ Turn the nose gear strut to the left side and change the right shock
cord ring.
▶ Install the shock cord rings and the steel cable deflection limiter to
the positions as noted before using the attaching bolt.
▶ Tension the two tensioning tools simultaneously ~10 mm to be able
to install the centering blocks.
▶ Reinstall the centering blocks (2 bolts each).
▶ Completely release the two tensioning tools simultaneously.
▶ Remove the tools.
▶ Reinstall the nose gear fork with wheel.
▶ Reinstall the nose wheel fairing and nose gear strut fairing.
▶ Reinstall heating system air hoses.
▶ Remove the jack.
