During a call
Activating/deactivating the microphone
To prevent the other party from listening in while you consult with someone in
your office, for example, you can temporarily switch off the handset microphone
or the handsfree microphone.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call.
Deactivating the microphone

Activating the microphone
; Press the key shown.
Changing the volume
You can change the volume of the handset or the loudspeaker during the call.

Switching from handset to speakerphone mode
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call via the handset.
Open listening in standard mode
: and \ Hold down the key and replace the handset. Then release the key and proceed
with your call.
Open listening in US mode
: Press the key shown.
\ Replace the handset. Proceed with your call.
Take note of the two different processes and activate your preferred set-
ting as appropriate page 92.
