Making calls
You must seize a line before you can make calls on a multi-line telephone.
Line seizure can be configured on an individual basis. Your administrator can de-
termine if the lines on your telephone can be automatically seized and with
which priority.
Manual line seizure
^ or : Lift the handset or : Press the key shown.
Press the required line key.
j Enter the phone number or use redial, for example. The connection is set up.
Automatic line seizure
^ or : Lift the handset or : Press the key shown.
The line defined during configuration is seized.
j Enter the phone number. The connection is set up.
Dialing the last dialed number
Regardless of the line used, the last number dialed on your telephone is dis-
played for redialing in the selected number's context menu.
^ or : Lift the handset or : Press the key shown.
Press the required line key. ( page 74).
Redial is offered on the display as long as a number has been dialed previously:
Confirm the option shown. The connection is set up.
If you have seized a secondary line, this line is reserved for you for making
calls for a specific period as defined by the administrator. No other user
can seize this line during this period, even if the line is also assigned to this
user's telephone.
