7) Enter the required extension password length (valid lengths 4-8).
• The default length is 4
8) Press save.
9) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the Volume button (up or down) to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
SETTING THE EXTENSION USER NAME
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 04-05-XXX (where XXX represents the extension number: 101~204).
5) Press save to display the Extension User Name programming screen for the extension you specified (i.e.,
101~204).
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the user name for this extension using the dial pad and referring to the numbering scheme tables
(see
“Appendix E - Setting Up Letter Type for Using Special Characters” on page 476).
• The default is null (no name).
8) Press save to store the setting.
9) Press next to display the Ext screen.
• You can then enter another extension number (i.e., 101~204), then press show. Then follow steps 6
through 9 for each extension for which you want to enter a name.

Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the Volume button (up or down) to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
