IMPORTANT DEFINITIONS
Storage
The devices must not be stored outdoors. The storing facilities have to be sufficiently ventilated and must be dry
(see Technical Data).
Waste Disposal
This protective device contains a battery, and therefore it is labeled with the
following symbol according to the EU Directive 2006/66/EC:
Batteries can be harmful to the environment. Damaged or unusable batteries
must be disposed of in a container that is specially reserved for this purpose.
In general, appropriate local guidelines and regulations must be followed when
disposing of electrical devices and batteries.
Purpose of the Battery
The purpose of the battery is to buffer the real time clock in case of an outage of the power supply of the protective
device.
Removal of the Battery
The battery has to be soldered out or alternatively the contacts have to be pinched off.
