Replacement Procedures for the Printer
Procedures: Print Engine
Take-Up Spindle Motor
Step 1. Remove the gear (see below).
Step 2. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the three screws holding the Take-Up
Spindle Motor in place—see arrows above. When replacing the screws,
loosely tighten; then fully tighten after replacing the Bearing Plate.
Step 3. Cut the cable ties as required to free the motor cable.
Step 4. If not already done, unplug J8 from the Main PCBA; and disconnect the
ground wire.
Step 5. Remove the Take-Up Spindle Motor, and set it aside.
