Contents of this chapter
The chapter describes how to check the insulation of the assembly and the
compatibility with other than symmetrically grounding TN-S systems. It then shows
how to connect the power and control cables, install optional modules and connect
a PC.

If you are not a qualified electrical professional, do not do installation or
maintenance work. Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore
them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
Required tools
To do the electrical installation, you need these tools:
• wire stripper
• screwdriver set (Torx, flat and/or Phillips, as appropriate)
• torque wrench.
