Fuses (UL)
The UL Listed fuses in this manual are required for branch circuit protection and
required per NEC. The drives are suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering
not more than 100 kA symmetrical amperes (rms) at 480 V maximum when
protected by the fuses described below.
ABB recommends Class T fuses listed below. Also allowed are UL Listed 248-8
Class J fast acting, time delay, and high speed fuses, 248-4 Class CC fast acting
fuses and 248-17 Class CF fast acting and time delay fuses of the same nominal
voltage and current rating.
