R8 power cable connection if you detach the cable connectors
The power cable connectors of frame R8 are detachable. If you detach them, you
can connect the cables with cable lugs as follows:
• Remove the nut that attaches the connector to the terminal post and remove
the connector.
• Alternative 1: Put the conductor to the connector. Tighten to a torque of 30 N·m.
Put the connector back onto the post. Tighten the connector to a torque of
16 N·m.
• Alternative 2: Attach a cable lug to the conductor. Put the cable lug onto the
post. Tighten the nut to a torque of 16 N·m.
