System overview
For the following instrument:
• ACS380-04xC with fieldbus adapter connected (excluding BCAN-11 CANopen
interface +K405)
The drive can be controlled by external devices over a communication network
(fieldbus) through an optional fieldbus adapter module.
The drive can be connected to an external control system through an optional
fieldbus adapter (“fieldbus adapter A” = FBA A) mounted onto the control unit of the
drive. The drive can be configured to receive all of its control information through the
fieldbus interface, or other available sources such as digital and analog inputs,
depending on how control locations EXT1 and EXT2 are configured.
