40.01 Motor noise An optimization setting for balancing between control
performance and motor noise level.
Cyclic Control performance optimized for cyclic load applications.
Note: With this setting, the maximum motor cable length is
smaller than with Default.

Low noise Minimizes motor noise; control performance optimized for
high (> 300 Hz) output frequencies.
Note: Drive loadability is reduced with this setting and some
derating must be applied if a certain constant output current is
needed. This setting is not recommended for cyclic load
applications. The maximum motor cable length is 50 m
(164 ft) with drives up to 45 kW.
