This chapter contains the start-up procedure of the drive.
Start-up procedure
The tasks which are needed in certain cases only are marked with underlining, and option
codes are given in brackets. Default device designations (if any) are given in brackets after
the name, for example “main switch-disconnector (Q1)”. The same device designations are
typically also used in the circuit diagrams.
These instructions cannot and do not cover all possible start-up tasks of a customized drive.
Always refer to the delivery-specific circuit diagrams when proceeding with the startup.
WARNING!
Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death,
or damage to the equipment can occur. If you are not a qualified electrical
professional, do not do installation or maintenance work.

+Q963, +Q964, +Q978, +Q979), additional start-up instructions are given in their separate
manuals. See the listing of manuals inside the front cover.
