TÜV Safety Approved mark (functional safety)
Product contains Safe Torque Off and possibly other (optional) safety functions which are certified
by TÜV according to the relevant functional safety standards. Applicable to drives and inverters;
not applicable to supply, brake or DC/DC converter units or modules.
CSA certification mark for USA and Canada
Product has been tested and evaluated against the relevant North American standards by
the CSA Group. Valid with rated voltages up to 600 V.
EAC (Eurasian Conformity) mark
Product complies with the technical regulations of the Eurasian Customs Union. EAC mark is required
in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Electronic Information Products (EIP) green mark
The product complies with the People’s Republic of China Electronic Industry Standard (SJ/T 11364-
2014). The product does not contain toxic and hazardous substances or elements above the
maximum concentration values, and it is an environmentally-friendly product which can be recycled.
RCM mark
Product complies with Australian and New Zealand requirements specific to EMC, telecommunica-
tions and electrical safety. For fulfilling the EMC requirements, see the additional information con-
cerning the drive EMC compliance (IEC/EN 61800-3).
KC mark
Product complies with Korea’s product safety requirements for electrical and electronic equipment
and components that utilize power from 50…1000 V AC.
WEEE mark
At the end of life the product should enter the recycling system at an appropriate collection point
and not placed in the normal waste stream.
CE marking
A CE mark is attached to the drive to verify that the drive complies with the provisions of
the European Low Voltage and EMC Directives. The CE marking also verifies that the drive,
in regard to its safety functions (such as Safe torque off), conforms with the Machinery
Directive as a safety component.
Compliance with the European Low Voltage Directive
The compliance with the European Low Voltage Directive has been verified according to
standard EN 61800-5-1.
Compliance with the European EMC Directive
The EMC Directive defines the requirements for immunity and emissions of electrical
equipment used within the European Union. The EMC product standard (EN 61800- 3:2004)
covers requirements stated for drives. See section Compliance with the EN 61800-3:2004
below.
