The coordinates are entered according to the table below.

For values that fall outside the range defined by the coordinate pairs, the function
extends the characteristic with a horizontal line.
In the example above, for ControlSignal < 20.0%, the value of Val ue 1 is 70.0%,
and for ControlSignal > 50.0%, the value of Val ue 1 is 20.0%.
Equivalently, for ControlSignal < 40.0%, the value of Va lu e2 is 10.0%, and for
ControlSignal > 90.0%, the value of Val ue 2 is 90.0%.
Using this block, the user can have one “increase to close” signal, and one
“increase to open” signal. This is useful when there is one valve that controls
cooling media and one valve that controls heating media in a temperature control
application.
