Chapter 3: Configuration 3.6 Setting the Configuration
493-0736-11 (6-2) 181
Note. All signal types can be used together with the Stiction Compensation
function. This means, for example, that the function can be added to an external
input signal and then be distributed as an output signal with the stiction
compensation pulses superimposed.
Analog Output Communication Buffers
Remote analog communication is provided by Analog Output Communications
Buffers (AOC) via a two wire RS485 serial channel using the COMLI protocol.
Each Analog Output Communications Buffer can accept one analog input and
produces one analog output. Each buffer block also holds two parameters, Mode
and Identity. Each block may be given a twenty letter identification name by
configuring the parameter Identity.
Note. See Appendix E for a full list of communication I/O bits and registers.
