6.3.3 sortdata - Sort data
Usage
sortdata is used to describe the sorting criteria.
Description
sortdata is used to set the criteria for sorting item targets from an item source.
Components
SortType
Data type: sorttype
Type of sorting that is going to be used.
• UNSORT_TYPE tells that no sorting is used.
• POS_Y_SORT_TYPE tells that the sorting shall be done from the positive
y-direction of the work area.
• NEG_Y_SORT_TYPE tells that the sorting shall be done from the negative
y-direction of the work area.
CheckBoundary
Data type: num
The clearance distance for sorting, in millimeters. The distance is defined as the
minimum distance to the next item in the sorting direction.
SortDirOffset
Data type: num
An offset distance beyond the item target in the sort direction. Is used to define
the inner limit for the corridor in which no other item targets are allowed.
