 If you are not specialized
electrical personnel:
 Never open electric
components.
 Never touch damaged
electric components,
cables or the inside of
electric components.
 Only specialized electrical
personnel may work on
the electrical system.
 The main terminals -X30,
-X40 and the input termi-
nals of the main switches
-Q30, -Q40 are live even
when the main switches
are off.
 All metallic parts in the
environment that can be
touched at the same time
as the machine must also
be grounded together.
 Check pre-protection
according to the docu-
mentation.
Risk of burning due
to hot surfaces
The following compo-
nents are very hot
during and after opera-
tion of the gas sam-
pling system:
 the cooling module
 the heated sample
gas lines
 the connection box
for the heated sam-
ple gas line on the
retractor
 the heated sam-
pling filter
 the entire gas sam-
pling probe
 the metal structure
of the retractor
 the shutter of the
duct opening
 Never enter the danger
area around the retractor
during operation.
 Do not touch these com-
ponents during and after
operation.
 If it is unavoidable to
touch hot components,
wear a face mask against
heat, heat-proof gloves
and protective welder's
clothing.
