Certification
AgilentTechnologies certies that this pro duct met its published
specications at the time of shipment from the factory. Agilent
Technologies further certies that its calibration measurements are
traceable to the United States National Institute of Standards and
Technology, to the extent allowed by the Institute's calibration
facility, and to the calibration facilities of other International
Standards Organization members.
Warranty
This AgilentTechnologies instrument pro duct is warranted against
defects in material and workmanship for a perio d of one year from
date of shipment. During the warranty p erio d, AgilentTechnologies
will, at its option, either repair or replace pro ducts which proveto be
defective.
For warranty service or repair, this pro duct must b e returned
to a service facility designated by AgilentTechnologies. Buyer
shall prepay shipping charges to AgilentTechnologies and Agilent
Technologies shall pay shipping charges to return the pro duct to
Buyer. However, Buyer shall pay all shipping charges, duties, and
taxes for pro ducts returned to AgilentTechnologies from another
country.
AgilentTechnologies warrants that its software and rmware
designated by AgilentTechnologies for use with an instrument will
execute its programming instructions when prop erly installed on that
instrument. AgilentTechnologies do es not warrant that the operation
of the instrument, or software, or rmware will b e uninterrupted or
error-free.
Limitation of Warranty
The foregoing warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from
improp er or inadequate maintenance by Buyer, Buyer-supplied
software or interfacing, unauthorized mo dication or misuse,
operation outside of the environmental specications for the
pro duct, or improp er site preparation or main
tenance.
NO OTHER WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS
THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Exclusive Remedies
THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HEREIN ARE BUYER'S SOLE
AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. HEWLETT-PACKARD SHALL
NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER
BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL
THEORY.
