7. Set the Dual Channel mode for the safety output.
Setting Dual Channel mode enables an error to be detected if
the two outputs from a user program are not equivalent. If an
error is detected in one of two outputs circuits, both outputs to
the device will become inactive.
Output Dual Channel Mode Settings
Channel Mode Description
Single Channel The safety output terminal is used independently.
Dual Channel The safety output terminal is paired with another output
terminal. The output can be turned on when both the output
and the paired safety output are consistent.
