2.3. Opening the HYC50
The HYC50 has a service hatch with two locking cylinders (10/30 mm profile half cylinder)
which allows access to the unit interior.
The locking cylinder on the left (see Figure 10) is the access point for the alpitronic support
team, the locking cylinder for the customer is on the right.
Notice
If the customer does not expressly wish to install their own locking
cylinder, alpitronic will install standard locking cylinders.
Steps to open the service hatch:
• Remove the service hatch cover by hand
• Turn the key 90° in the direction show in Figure 10
• Tilt the insert forwards and downwards.
Steps to close the service hatch:
• Hook the bottom edge of the insert to the bottom edge of the service hatch;
the arrow pointing upwards signals the correct insertion direction
• Centre the insert in the opening until it clicks into place.
