4 HYC50 installation and commissioning

All the points listed below are binding and must be carried out by the operator of the
hypercharger (or the installation company commissioned by them) at the time of
commissioning.
Depending on the individual conditions of use of the hypercharger, further checks may be
necessary. Therefore, the following list should not be taken as complete.
External visual inspection
• Condition of housing
• IP degree of protection (IP54)
• Stability
• Accessibility
Checking charging cables &
plugs
• Checking of all cable parts (cable sleeve, cable, cable plug,
mating face, pins) for the absence of damage (e.g. cable
sheath intact, no bruises or cracks, pins undamaged, etc.)
• Are all outside cable glands tight?
Checking the screw connections
on the input terminals
Check that the screw connections on the input terminals are
tightened to 9 Nm
Checking the input mains cable
glands
• Visually verify that the input mains cable glands are tight
• Visual random check of internal screw connections
• Random check of tightening torques
Check the cleanliness inside the charging station
Check for the absence of traces of condensation inside the
charging station
Review of protective measures
• Visual inspection of the earthing system
• Test earthing resistance
• Test continuity of the equipotential bonding connections
Checks on the supply line
• Check the insulation resistance at the main switch (mains
side)
• Information on the existing protective device
• Verification of the security
Check the insulation resistance
of DC charging outlets
Check the insulation resistance of the pins for each existing DC
charging outlet
Functional test of the RFID reader
Check connectivity of SIM cards
• Check the connection to the alpitronic backend
• Check the connection to the customer backend
Check the display elements
• Functional test touch screen
• Functional test of the screen display and, if necessary, the
touch screen of the credit card terminal
• Functional test of LED strips on the front door
Quality check / check of compo-
nents relevant to calibration law
(if available)
