4.1. Location preparation
During installation it must be ensured that a minimum distance to possible objects around
the HYC50 is maintained in order to ensure sufficient airflow and to have enough space
available for possible service or maintenance work.
Notice
The position of the hypercharger is to be chosen in such a way that
possible damage due to foreseeable circumstances is avoided. Sufficient
mechanical impact protection should be provided to protect the charging
station.
Figure 15 lists the recommended and minimum clearances to consider when site preparing
a HYC50. The recommended distances are designed for convenient maintenance of the
hypercharger, while the prescribed distances represent the absolute minimum for
maintenance work.
Notice
During assembly, ensure that escape routes are observed
Before installation, compliance with all legal requirements for the
installation site (e.g. safety against overturning, impact protection, fire
protection, effects of frost, etc.) must be checked.
Each charging cable must be arranged as close as possible to the
location to be supplied, taking into account ergonomics and mechanical
impact protection. Note the cable radius
Figure 5).
The ground conditions should be as flat and level as possible in the areas
shown.
