ASCII OUTPUT FORMAT
A simple printable Ascii event log output is provided. This is designed to drive a serial printer or
terminal emulator for logging purposes. Point number, point state, date/time and sync state data are
supplied. No legend facilities are provided. There is no requirement for hardware control lines
(RTS/CTS) or ACK signals.
The output format is as follows:
Point:ddd S hh:mm:ss.sss I mm/dd/yyyy<cr><lf>
Where:
ddd Point number
S Point State A – alarm
N – normal
hh:mm:ss.sss time to milliseconds
I sync state I – Irig on
- no sync
mm/dd/yyyy date (dd/mm/yyyy format may also be selected via the
configuration software)
<cr><lf> carriage return, line feed.
