ASCII
The only setting required for ASCII Protocol is to enable the Serial Comms Port.
Settings for Serial Port (Option SPT)
Note: The Serial Comms Port selection must be one of; ASCII, Modbus, or DNP.
Turning on ASCII Serial Comms turns off Modbus and DNP Serial Comms
Parity
The parity for the serial communications may be selected from:-
None
Odd
Even
The configuration application will always use the parity defined for the SERIES
90B. If the parity is changed it will not take effect until the current configuration
session is complete.
Baud Rate
The ASCII baud rate may be selected from :-
1200
2400
4800
9600
19200
