Setting Up an Autofill System

2.5 Setting Up an Autofill System
Autofill systems are useful in applications where liquid level in a dewar
must be maintained without operator intervention.
To create an autofill system, a cryogenic liquid source must be attached to
the target or level controlled dewar via a solenoid-controlled valve. The
valve will be controlled by the Model 1700 Instrument.
2.5.1 Autofill System Description
For autofill, the system consists of a Model 1700 Instrument with a liquid
level sensor, and a solenoid-operated flow valve. The instrument makes
continuous level measurements and based on level, energizes the valve to
