Chapter 6 — Removal and Replacement
6-1 Introduction
This chapter describes the removal and replacement procedures for the various assemblies of VNA Master
Models MS2024B, MS2025B, MS2034B, and MS2035B. Illustrations (drawings or photographs) in this manual
may differ slightly from the instrument that you are servicing, but the basic removal and replacement
functions will remain as specified. The illustrations are meant to provide assistance with identifying parts and
their locations.
The Main/VNA PCB Assembly for MS202xB instruments, and the Main/VNA/DSP PCB Assembly for
MS203xB instruments may also be described as the Mother Board. In all four VNA Master Models, the VNA
circuitry is on the Mother Board: ND72051, ND72052, ND72117, and ND72118. The complete list of
replaceable parts is documented in Table 1-7 on page 1-8.
