7.3. W.H.E. SYSTEM (WATER HYGIENIZATION EQUIPMENT)
The W.H.E. system ensures a safe, physical, separation of the dental
unit water system from the water mains thanks to a water free fall section
(in compliance with EN 1717).
In addition, system continuously delivers hydrogen peroxide inside water
circuit with a final concentration inside ducts of 0.06% (600 ppm), which
is suitable to carry out bacteriostasis.
To this end, the use of PEROXY Ag+ (CEFLA s.c.) is recommended;
nevertheless, also 3% oxygenated water can be used.
Description of the system.
The W.H.E. system is positioned inside the connection box and is always
active.
In addition, system features a tank (a) positioned inside the water unit
and suitable to contain approx. 590 cc. of oxygenated water.
A special icon ( G ) signals on dentist's console display that the WHE
system is working.
the W.H.E. system is automatically disabled when the S.H.S.
system is enabled (if installed).
