13.4 Setting CO2
Select the CO
2
parameter area to enter CO
2
parameter setting menu.
Setting Unit
Select Unit in the CO
2
parameter setting menu, and the options are
mmHg,kPaor%.
Setting Apnea Alarm Time
For mainstream CO
2
and microstream CO
2
module, selectApnea Almin
the CO2 parameter setting menu, you can select the apnea time as required in
the options. The monitor indicates an alarm when a pre-adjusted time has
elapsed since the last detected breath.
Setting Expiring Cycle
The value of EtCO
2
and FiCO
2
in the CO
2
parameter area will be refreshed
in real-time. As for the mainstream CO
2
module and microstream CO
2
module,
you can set the method to calculate EtCO
2
and FiCO
2.
TheEt Cyclecan be set in the CO
2
parameter setting menu:
One Breathcalculate the EtCO
2
and FiCO
2
by every respiratory wave.
10s or 20s a time interval, during which the maximum CO
2
concentration is EtCO
2
, and the minimum CO
2
concentration is FiCO
2.
Setting CO
2
Corrections
Temperature, water vapor in the patients breath, barometric pressure, and
the proportions of O
2
, N
2
O and Helium in the mixture all influence CO
2
absorption.
For mainstream CO

module and microstream CO
