19.2 Operation Mode
EMS is a multi-functional measurement module with a color display screen.
It can detect 3-lead, 5-lead and 12-lead ECG (including and ST segment), Resp,
SpO
2
, PR, Temp, NIBP and IBP.
EMS has the following two operation modes:
--- Module mode: It is combined with the host monitor produced by the
manufacturer as a multi-functional measurement module.
--- Monitor mode: It is used as an independent patient monitor in the
transit of patients.
19.2.1 Module Mode
EMS can be linked with host monitor as its multi-functional measurement
module. In this situation, EMS has the following features:
1. The prompt message of “Module Mode” is shown on the screen of EMS.
