2. Turn on the host monitor, after EMS is linked with the host monitor. At
the time, among the buttons of EMS, the screen switching button is still
enabled, the rest functional buttons are equal to the corresponding buttons
on the host monitor. The host monitor executes EMS functions of menu
display and alarm as well.
3. If no button action occurs in 5 minutes, screen backlight of EMS will be
turned off automatically for saving electricity. Backlight may be
re-activated by pressing any button.
4. EMS’s power is supplied by host monitor. If there is a battery in the
module, the battery is being charged and the battery status indicating lamp
on front panel of the module is ON.
5. Battery in EMS can be charged by linking to the host monitor.
6. After EMS is connected with host monitor, the processing method for the
patient information and measurement setups of EMS as well as
corresponding contents of host monitor are shown in Section 6.5
After separated from host monitor, EMS can still be used for monitoring
patients as an independent monitor. For example, EMS can be used as an
independent patient monitor in the transit of patients. In this situation, EMS
has the following features:
1. All buttons, menus and alarm functions of EMS are valid.
2. EMS is provided with plug-in batteries. A fully charged battery can be

In this mode, if your EMS module matches the Wifi function, you can
connect it to the central monitoring system.
If power is supplied by a battery, low battery shall be prevented. In
