3.5 FIRST START UP AND VERIFICATION OF THE CORRECT ROTATION DIRECTION OF THE
MOTORS
When starting a new machine for the first time a with three-phase power supply, it is necessary to check the
correct rotation direction of the motors. For this purpose, the machine is equipped with a device for monitoring
the phasing of the electrical power supply so that, if the phases are inverted during the electrical connection, the
control panel display will show the image in Figure 11 as soon as the machine is switched on. This would
indicate the need to intervene on the electrical connection plug to invert the electrical phases. To turn on the
machine, turn the main switch to O –ON Figure 3 and press the ON / OFF button on the control panel for a few
seconds Figure 4 ref. 3. If the display does not show the aforementioned image when it is switched on, it is not
necessary to reverse the electrical connection phases.
