2 Description
This section gives a general description of the IP-DECT Base Station, IP-DECT Gateway and
DECT Base Starion.
2.1 IP-DECT Base Station
The following versions of the IPBS are available:
• IPBS with Internal antenna
• IPBS with External antennas

Contents of the Box
The box in which the IPBS is packed contains:
• An IPBS with integrated antennas
• A mounting bracket
• Two screws with wall plugs
Power Distribution
The IPBS can be powered using the following methods:
• Power over Ethernet, IEEE 802.3af
• A local AC-adapter
