16.1 UL Regulatory Information
Autronica’s variants of the AutroGuard Multicriteria Smoke Detector
(named AutroGuard Multicriteria Protector, Series
V-430/UL and V-530/UL) certified according to UL standards can only
be used together with the AutroSafe Fire Detection System.
The UL certification (ETL listing) comprises the following:
• Smoke and Multi: UL 268, ULCS529
• Heat (only Heat Response Category A1 is UL approved):
UL 521, ULC S530
The following UL regulatory information is applicable to the UL
certified variants:
• Heat Detector Spacing: is 30x30 ft.
• Operating temperature range: 0 to +38 °C
• Sensitivity: 2.16% - 0.54%/ft obscuration
• Other technical specifications are found in chapter 4 in this
handbook.
• Smoke detectors are not to be used with detector guards
unless the combination has been evaluated and found
suitable for that purpose.
• The UL compliant variants are not EN54 approved
