Connect
When you select Connect from the left menu, you can connect to the console of the console server
or to the console of devices connected to the serial ports. The list of ports in the Serial pull-down
menu includes the port names or administrator-defined aliases only for enabled ports that you are
authorized to access.
When you select Connect, a Java applet viewer appears.
NOTE: The Java applet viewer needs the Java 2 Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.4.2 or later, which must
be installed on any computer used to connect to devices.
