Web Manager Applications Menu
Options
This section describes the Web Manager Applications menu options and related screens in Expert
mode.
Expert - Applications - Connect
An administrator can select Expert - Applications - Connect to connect to the console of the console
server and to devices connected to the serial ports.
NOTE: The same screen appears when a regular user logs in.
To connect to the console of the console server [Expert]:
1. Select Expert - Applications - Connect.
2. Click the Connect to ACS 50XX radio button.
3. Click Connect. A Java applet viewer appears.
4. Log in if prompted.

Menu Selection Use this menu to:
Connect Connect to the console server shell via a secure SSH session or connect to the serial
ports.
IPDU Power Mgmt. Manage power outlets on supported IPDUs that are connected to serial ports that are
configured for power management. Turn power on and off, reboot connected devices,
change IPDU configuration, check the status or lock power outlets.
PMD Configuration Configure a username and password pair to match the IPDU username and password
configuration; authorize users for power management, and create outlet groups
Terminal Profile Menu Configure a menu of commands to be presented when a terminal that may be
connected to a serial port is turned on. The menu can be configured to present a list of
servers to be accessed from the terminal menu. Without the menu, the terminal
accesses the console of the console server directly.
