An additional relay with varistor protection circuit is necessary if the voltage of the brake
is 24V, or if the current of the brake is greater than the switching capacity of X101 (refer
to ZX101 (SELV/PELV)on page 192) or if you consider UL508C and the current of the
brake is greater 4 A.
Perhaps consider a limited operating voltage range of the brake because of the internal
voltage drop up to max. 2.6 V.
HINWEIS!
If the motor brake is connected directly via X101-2 and X101-3 (refer to ZFigure 82
on page 171), the shown direct installation is allowed only. It is not allowed within a
multi-axis installation e.g. to connect the plus and ground connections of all motor
brakes with each other.
