11.1.5.6 Connection cable add-on modules
IEE The connection cable is not offered by Baumüller and must be made by the user:

ble: LiYCY 3 x (2 x 0.14 mm²) + 2 x 0,34 mm² Cu braiding.

b-D connector: 9-pole, female (IEE side)
m E.g.
Sub-D connector: 26-pole, male (b maXX 5000 side)
m Ca
bles must be of twisted pair wire (track -0/0, -A/A, -B/B) from incremental encoder
emulation to further master control systems

he cable shield with the plug shell of the Sub-D male/Sub-D female connector

e 9-pole female connector (IEE side) with the cable

e 26-pole Sub-D male connector (b maXX 5000 side, pin assignment refer to

nnecting cable for sine/square-wave incremental encoder– on page 263) with
the other cable ending.

NOTE!
The connection cable must be made according above mentioned instruction, pin as-
signment IEE refer to ZAdd-on modules– on page 199!
The cable is inoperable with changed assignment of the pins!
