Slots In slots of the controller unit functional- or optional modules are plugged, which extend
the functionality of the controller unit. 
Each slot is identified by a code letter.
Dependable of the existing controller unit version on your device you can retrofit optional
plug-in modules (functional modules and optional modules).
1-, 2- and 3-rowed
A The controller communicates via a functional module bus with plug-in modules in
these slots.
Slot D can initiate an interrupt. Therewith slot D is particularly suitable for measur-
ing modules.
Optional modules can not be inserted into these slots.

F Controller module, not exchangeable with RS232 or Ethernet interface
2- and 3-rowed
G The controller communicates via the BACI-bus with plug-in modules in these slots.
Function modules can not be inserted into these slots.

3-rowed
J The controller communicates via the BACI-bus with plug-in modules in these slots.
Function modules can not be inserted into these slots.
