The sine-cosine encoder module provides a Hiperface
®
interface.
Some encoders are listed in ZEncoder modules slot/position A and B– on page 123, pre-
assembled encoder cables see ZEncoder cables– from page 307.
All encoders, which comply to the following technical specifications, may also be used:

NOTE
At use of module in connection with pre-assembled Baumüller encoder cables the
temperature sensor is not connected to the encoder cable!
You can connect the temperature sensor separately at the module (in the D-sub con-
nector) or at the power unit.
