The encoder module is provided with a synchronous-serial SSI standard interface via the
position data and parameters with a data rate of max. 1 MBit/s are exchanged between
control electronics and encoder. All encoders, are listed in ZEncoder modules slot/posi-
tion A and B– on page 123, may be used:

NOTE
Only if the cable break monitoring is supported (see ProDrive, page „Slot identifica-
tion“) and if the cable break monitoring is activated (see parameter handbook P0573)
both cable break and missing of the 24V power supply and a cable break in Data+/
Data- is identified. Otherwise the availability of the 24 V power supply is not checked
and a broken cable is not detected by the controller.
