10.5 vpdgen
Command: vpdgen
Description: Generate a vpd file.
Syntax: vpdgen -f<string>
10.6 semode
Command: semode
Description: Configure NVRAM Mode.
Syntax: semode [auto | passthru | legacy | new]
Options:
-p Display page size
Example:
1. Set Serial EEPROM mode to Auto.
0:> semode auto
2. Display Current mode
0:> semode
Current mode : New NVRAM Access, Auto
device: Flash – ATMEL (with buffer)
10.7 seread
Command: seread
Description: Read NVRAM
Syntax: seread start[-end | len]
Note: Use “semode” command to configure the interface mode.
Example:
1. Set number base to hex, then read and display serial eeprom locations from 0x00 to
0x20
0:> radix 16
0:> seread 0-20
