Paper Width Detection
■ Pickup Paper Width Sensor
The Pickup Paper Width Sensor (PS2) detects leading edge of the paper when a paper is set in the Pickup Tray or the Multi-
purpose Tray.
• Paper width is judged as "Large" if the Pickup Paper Width Sensor (PS2) detected the presence of a paper.
• Paper width is judged as "Small" if the Pickup Paper Width Sensor (PS2) detected the absence of a paper.

■ Fixing Paper Width Detection
After the Fixing Delivery Sensor (PS4) has detected the paper leading edge, the status of the Fixing Paper Width (PS5) Sensor
is checked at the timing that the Fixing Paper reached to the specified length .
• Paper width is judged as "Large" if the Fixing Paper Width Sensor (PS5) detected the presence of a paper.
