• Paper width is judged as "Small" if the Fixing Paper Width Sensor (PS5) detected the absence of a paper.
When the paper width is "Small", then fixing temperature is lowered to decrease productivity to prevent the temperature rise at
the both ends of the Fixing Heater.
Paper size is judged mismatch when the paper size detected by Fixing Paper Width Sensor (PS5) is different from designated
paper size.
"Paper size does not match the setting" message is displayed on the control panel.

Paper Length Detection
Description
Paper length is detected by measuring the time from when the TOP Sensor (PS3) detects the leading edge of paper until when
the trailing edge of paper passes through.
Paper size is judged mismatch when the paper length detected by the TOP Sensor (PS3) is different from the length of designated
paper size.
"Paper size does not match the setting" message is displayed on the control panel.
