START AND CHECK
The system configuration has been lost (battery problem?).
SETUP the system
E-39 NO CONFIGURATION -
PRESS START
No configuration has been setup.Press START and SETUP the system
E-40 LIFTER ERR. - CHECK
CARD/PRESS START
The unloader blade has not rotated.
Ensure that there is nothing mechanical or a jammed card obstructing it;
check the unloader stepping motor or the photocell for proper
functioning.
E-41 ERROR IN TRACK JIS A Writing or reading error on JIS A of magnetic strip.
Check the card and press Start to reset the error or feeder to repeat the
card. If the defect persists, clean the head, and check for proper card
movement in the encoding zone.
E-42 ERROR IN TRACK JIS B Writing or reading error on JIS B of magnetic strip.
Check the card and press Start to reset the error or feeder to repeat the
card. If the defect persists, clean the head, and check for proper card
movement in the encoding zone.
E-47 PAUSE ENCODING -
PRESS START
The Pause key has been pressed. This message indicates a pause in
the movement of the encoding.
E-48 X TIPPER ERROR -
PRESS START
The card has not entered the tipper.
Check gripper alignment;
check the X tipper offset in the machine set-up;
check the photocell found under the tipper slide.
E-51 PAUSE THERMO -
PRESS START
The Pause key has been pressed.
This message indicates a pause in the movement of the card in the
thermographic unit.

COMM.
ERROR-PRESS START
Hardware connection with thermographic group has fault or setup has
wrong values.
Check hardware and Setup Parameters.
E-53 THERMO DATA ERR-
PRESS START
Error in thermographic data from PC.
Check data.
