– Fit a suitable hose on the drain cock (1). Place the
end of the hose into a container.
– Open the drain cock (1) carefully.
The pressure inside the system is relieved and the
coolant escapes.
– Slacken off cover (1) to the stop and relieve the
excess pressure.
– Unscrew cover (1).
Any possible vacuum in the system is relieved, the
remaining coolant flows out of the drain tap.
– Bolt on cover (1).
– Close drain tap.
