Assignment of these Audio Ports is controlled by selecting the drop down box for the
corresponding Radio, then selecting the desired Audio Port. An example of this can be
seen in the above image where each radio is configured to work directly with an
individual Audio Port.
Example:
The above image shows another example where the Mic/AUD/PTT Audio Port is
combined on several radios. As we can Radio 1 and Radio 2 are both combined on
Audio Port 1. Equally Radios 4 and 5 are both combined on Audio Port 3. In this
example when a PTT discrete is asserted on Audio Port 1 the currently displayed radio
shown on the front panel, either Radio 1 or Radio 2, will begin transmitting. If neither
Radio 1 nor Radio 2 are selected the PTT assertion will select the last used Radio.
