Spider DSA User’s Manual

To use this feature, simply check the third option as shown below to activate the
trigger recording. This setting can be found under the Test Configuration-
>Save/Recording Setup menu, and click the Record Time Stream tab.
This feature gives users a convenient way to monitor and record something
unexpected. Users can set the time stream data any channel on the master device
as the trigger source and choose any trigger mode except the Free Run to
automatically activate the recording event. When the trigger mode is changed, the
test will stop this run, and wait for user to begin a new run.
For the Free Run mode, the trigger is not armed but the user can preview the live
signal and the trigger line to estimate the possible trigger event. Since the trigger
event is not actually occurred, the recording will not start under the Free Run
mode.
For the continuous after trigger mode, the trigger will no longer be armed after it
is triggered for the first time, so the recording will only be activated once if the
recording is activated by checking the third option of beginning the recording.
